HÉLIOS WEB is a tiny tech consulting firm based in the Quebec City region. Our mission is to support creators from here and elsewhere as they navigate a constantly evolving digital world. We believe that technology is a tool that can boost your productivity and success rather than being a source of worry, uncertainty, and hassle!

A passion for speed & tech

Although the first steps of "freelance" IT consulting go back a long way, Hélios Web was truly born on the race track, in the midst of pandemic chaos!

It was during this tumultuous period that the seeds of a concrete project finally took root. This creative and entrepreneurial flow, which until then had no place to express itself, met a long-standing passion for Gran Turismo! Combined with a now-crisp desire to reconnect with other humans everywhere on the globe, the SPLINTER SERIES was born, a virtual car racing simulation championship, first on GT Sport, then on GT7. (Yes, we even manage transitioning communities from one game to another!)

Gaming, once a personal endeavor, has become a business to be shared with the world. Combining this childhood passion with a solid background in technology, a true content creation ecosystem has developed, where live broadcasts, brand development, social media content production, event organization, and fun have all come together. All of this has resulted in over a hundred broadcasts of 300 races spread over 20 seasons, bringing together drivers from all over, and marking the landscape in its own way (with neon yellow!)

The first steps

In October 2021 that HÉLIOS WEB is officially incorporated, with the first mandate to completely review the brand image and online presence of Compta DC, an accounting firm approaching (at the time) its 25th anniversary.

In addition to creating a logo, selecting brand new colors and fonts, and rolling out this new visual identity across various platforms (web, social media, and the company's physical premises), the accounting field came with its own unique challenges! Especially during the early 20's upheaval that forced the firm to serve its clients virtually for the very first time.

Drawing on experience in the insurance and financial sectors, ensuring compliance and cybersecurity were key project priorities. The project ultimately resulted in a formalized end-to-end expertise in process improvement!

Stepping out of the comfort zone

After achieving its first successes, HÉLIOS WEB established a reputation that has allowed it to shine locally, both with community organizations and well-known companies in the Quebec region.

In addition to gaining the trust of loyal customers nearby, we landed a key contract with the Châteauguay 55+ Centre, a place dedicated to the local English-speaking community, thus opening the door to the greater Montreal region.

What a pleasure to contribute to the deployment of an eCommerce (POS) and membership management solution with "seniors" curious to follow the evolutions of technology. There are no barriers to adopting technology when you get started!

The cloud revolution

Through accomplishments and networking, strong bonds that make us want to always go further together are formed! This is particularly the case with Dimpo!

This is a story that goes far beyond implementing a cloud tool already available on the market. It's an opportunity to get involved in the real-time development of a tool designed to meet evolving needs in the field, through quality assurance, marketing strategies, and user training!

This specific scenario is the perfect opportunity to take full advantage of the lessons learned in the gaming era, with live webinars and TikTok/YouTube Shorts designed to raise awareness of this growing platform for accountants. We even participated in official events of the Ordre des CPA du Québec (RAFCPA 2025) as a speaker on the technological challenges and opportunities awaiting future CPAs across the province!
